Herbalist Bio: Mardi spent two blissful years in the field learning bioregional botany and medicinal plant identification and use with teacher Natalie Hammerquist at Adiantum School of Plant Medicine. Extra focus those first two years were on learning applying the concepts of TCM. A merge of Chinese and Western herbalism with a special interest in Indigenous practices and personal ancestry. And then a third certificate from Wild Rose College, general Western herbalist based, Practicing Herbalist.

Mardi sustainably and conscientiously hand forages a lot of the medicinal herbs that she works with and the rest she purveys from local organic medicinal herb farms like Root Digger Farm in Olympia. Quality and the love put forth into working with the land being of the utmost importance.
